Solo baseball drills built for your position and time. Catch, fielding, hitting.
What should I practice today? Grab your glove and stop wondering. BaseballRoutine picks today's training for you. Choose your positions (pitcher, catcher, infielder, outfielder, more than one is fine), your level (beginner, intermediate, advanced), how long you can train today (20, 40 or 60 minutes, or type your own) and the gear you have. That's all it takes to build today's routine: catch → fielding → hitting. It's made for practice on your own, or with one throwing partner and a wall or net, not for team practice. No server, no account. Every record stays on your phone. ■ Catch to hitting in one session Pick 40 minutes and the time splits itself: a 10-minute catch warm-up, 15 minutes of fielding, 15 minutes of hitting. The fielding block changes with your position. Infielders get slow rollers, the double-play pivot and backhand plays. Outfielders get the crossover step, drop step and fence play. Catchers get blocking, framing and throwdowns. Pitchers get the balance drill, pickoff moves and PFP. Hitting covers tee work by zone, soft toss, the short-swing drill and the bent-knee swing drill. Drills above your level, or that need gear you don't have, are left out automatically. ■ Just fielding today, just hitting today Besides the full routine there are Catch only, Fielding only and Hitting only modes. A focus mode runs a short catch warm-up and then only that part. The drill mix shifts a little from day to day. ■ One timer runs the whole thing Around 30 drills run in order, each with a description, a one-line coaching point and a big circular countdown. When time is up, a short rest leads into the next drill automatically. Pause, resume, skip or finish early whenever you like. The last 3 seconds beep and vibrate, and the screen stays on while you train. At the end you get a summary of the drills you did and the total time. ■ Every finished drill is saved right away Each drill is logged the moment you finish it. Leave mid-session and the day's progress stays put. Pick it up again from the home screen. ■ Calendar and streaks The monthly calendar marks every day you trained, with colored dots showing which parts you did. Your current streak and longest streak are right there on the home screen and the Records tab. ■ Stats See this month's days trained, drill count and training time, how many catch, fielding and hitting drills you did, and running totals per drill (say, 12 rounds of tee work this month) at a glance. ■ Reminders so you don't miss a day Get today's routine on the days and times you choose. If you haven't trained by evening, one more nudge comes before your streak breaks. Each reminder can be turned off separately. ■ New gear or new position? Set it up again Change your positions, level, time and gear in Settings anytime. Your routine is rebuilt, but your records and streak stay exactly as they were. ■ Light and dark themes Choose light or dark, or follow your system setting. ■ Remove ads Pay once and ads are gone for good. Not a subscription. Drills are put together automatically by the app from general baseball training principles. Adjust the intensity to how you feel, and stop if anything hurts.
