Green while you have plenty of room, orange past 80 percent, red when it is time. One look tells you where things stand. ■ Count by uses, by time, or both Set a replacement cycle by number of uses (say 100 swims), by period (say 6 months), or both at once. With both set, SwimGear goes by whichever comes first. ■ Recommended cycles built in Goggles, silicone caps, lycra caps, one piece swimsuits, bikinis, jammers, ear caps and nose clips: pick a category and a typical replacement cycle is filled in for you. Adjust it any time to match how you actually swim. ■ Wash cycles that fit your routine Decide how many uses or how many days should pass between washes, and SwimGear lets you know when the moment arrives.
