About this app
Activate core musculature. Increase core capacity. Performance-enhancing effect.
🇳🇴 The Norwegian Core Training Method CoreCapacity is a newly developed AI-driven training paradigm that allows users to choose between easier activation of the core muscles and building core capacity. Guided training videos are based on the latest principles of core training, incorporating balance-focused exercises as well as dynamic and heavier loading. The primary form of resistance is body weight. The app adapts to each user individually based on login data, selected focus areas and fitness level, user history, as well as the user's ratings of exercises and workouts. Workouts are logged automatically, and the app records which exercises the user prioritizes. It can also be used as a regular training log, with the option to add comments. The app estimates the activation level of the core muscles based on the number of minutes of use per week. This figure is expressed as a percentage (%) and displayed as a battery status. Forty minutes per week will result in 100%, which gradually decreases to 0% over the course of two weeks of inactivity. Users can choose to receive a reminder when their activation level falls below a certain threshold. A normally activated core musculature is beneficial to health, and research shows that a reduced level of activation increases the risk of musculoskeletal problems. The warm-up consists of fun and challenging balance exercises performed on unstable surfaces. Reflexes activate the nervous and muscular systems. Many of the exercises provide documented activation of the core muscles. The main workouts consist of heavier and dynamic exercises, often incorporating balance elements and unilateral loading (using one arm or one leg). This is intended to increase torsional force and stimulate and activate the oblique muscles of the body through the Serape effect. Users are expected to watch and follow the instructional video, including its disclaimer. The risk of pain and injury increases when the intensity of core training approaches approximately 90% of maximum capacity. It is recommended to follow the principles of progressive overload and listen to your body. Full recovery between heavier workouts using the app is assumed. The user is solely responsible for following the principles outlined above and for seeking advice from a physician or other relevant professional when necessary.
