Dropbound is a pipe puzzle game about order: set the switches, drop the ball, and rescue every critter on the board, one ball each. The ball waits at the top behind a gate. Below it, one glass pipe splits at switches into a tangle that weaves over and under itself on the way down, and critters wait trapped in bubbles under its exits. Tap the switches to set the route, then press DROP. A ball that reaches a critter pops its bubble. Every critter is on the board from the start, and you choose the order. Choosing well is the puzzle. HOW TO PLAY - Tap a switch to choose which way it sends the ball - Press DROP when you are ready: no timer, nothing to time - Reach a critter's exit and its bubble pops: rescued - End up anywhere else and that ball is spent - Rescue every critter before your balls run out WHO GOES FIRST? From board 16, flip switches join the ones you tap. You can't set a flip switch: every flip switch on the board turns once at the end of every drop, wherever the ball went. So the board has two looks, an even one and an odd one, and every rescue changes which critters you can reach next. Pick the right critter first and one ball each is enough. Pick the wrong one and you may need your spare. Every board can be cleared with one ball per critter, and from board 2 on you always get one spare ball.
