Knife throwing timing game: hit the swinging target, paint 12 pictures. Offline.
Paintblade is a one-thumb knife throwing game about timing. Throw knives at a swinging target, dodge the blockers, and pin every zone before the clock runs out. Paint twelve pixel pictures, collect five knife styles, and earn three stars on every level. Plays offline with no wifi. Drag to aim the cannon and lift your thumb to throw: the knife flies straight up. The target bar swings left and right across the top, carrying colour-coded zones. Blocker bars slide across the lane in between, and a knife that hits one is carried off the screen. Knives are limited and every level is on a clock, so every throw has to count. 12 PICTURES TO PAINT - Every zone you pin throws its paint onto a pixel picture on the floor under your cannon. You paint what you hit. - Every ten levels is a chapter, and each chapter finishes one picture. - Twelve pictures to paint, from a duck in sunglasses to a cat in a taco. The ones you have not reached stay secret until you get there. - Finish a picture and it takes over the screen, then joins your gallery. KNIFE STYLES TO COLLECT - Earn sparks for every pin, every level and every finished picture. - Spend sparks on five knife styles: ember, jade, midnight, frost and gold. - Out of knives or out of time? Use sparks, or watch an optional ad, to keep going on the same level with more knives or more time. LEVELS AND THREE STARS - Clear a level and it stays cleared. Fail one and you replay that level, never the whole climb. - Earn up to three stars on every level: three stars for not wasting a single knife. - Levels get harder as you climb: more zones, narrower zones, a faster swing, longer blockers, fewer knives and less time on the clock. HOW TO PLAY - Drag to place the cannon under the lane you want. - Throw early. Lift your thumb before the zone reaches your lane, so the knife and the zone arrive together. - Wait for a gap in the blockers before you throw. - Three quick lessons teach the throw before level 1.
