The game itself is very fun. But in addition to problems brought up by other recent reviews, this game needs cloud save integration with Google Play on Android and Steam on PC. For a modern game to lack this feature is inexcusable.
I really love this game... Just not on my Android devices. The right movement button has very little area, while the left button takes up almost the entire left side of the screen. I frequently find it difficult to move correctly. My fingers block the bottom part of the screen, so I can't see enemies and blocks down below as I would on other devices. It eludes me as to why this game doesn't have native controller support on Android when it uses a controller just fine on every other platform.
Genuinely fun roguelite where you feel you self improve at it incrementally over runs. Its rewarding almost like it is in spelunky where you see new things over time. Controls are simple and its easy to pick up and play to pass time but obviously requires some attention while playing so you cant turn your brain off completely if thats what your looking for. Very simple satisfying graphics on things like the gun boots which make the game flow really well once you get the hang of it.
absolutely love this game, it's truly one of my favorite phone games, amazingly designed tight arcade fun. 3 stars because they really need to add the settings from the desktop version. I NEED controller support and widescreen - this game is so close to perfect for my android handhelds (anbernic rg rotate, retroid pflip2. unfortunately, this game has to be winlated.
Gameplay: 5 stars It is really shame that this game is so abandoned by the developer. Why can't I turn off the in-game sounds? Where is a support for taller display resolution? Otherwise would be a best mobile game ever.

No way to play this on landscape devices.
almost perfect game but I was disheartened to see the issues I'm having with control glitches and freezing between levels were reported over 5 years ago and are unresolved
Make Inscryption available for mobile platforms.
Giving this a 1 star review because it shouldn't be bought in its current state (though I do like the game). It very often freezes on level transitions and does not recover. This means you lose all progress in a run and have to start over. This is likely due to changes in Android, but this game hasn't been updated in 3 years and I don't see this being fixed. Don't buy this game unless you like finishing the last level for the boss with 40 energy and 7 health and then a freeze ends the run.

if you want a classic arcade like game. This is my go to recommendation. I own this game on 3 different platforms and it is one of the few. its fast, snappy in its controls. and has a gameplay loop that is so much fun to get better at.
