Baby kick counter for pregnancy: time ten movements, learn your baby's rhythm.
Bump Kicks is a quiet baby kick counter for pregnancy. Tap the bump each time you feel your baby move — the app times how long ten kicks take, and nothing else. Counting fetal movement at about the same time each day is what makes a pattern readable. Over days, your times settle into a range that is yours alone — built only from your own history, never from averages of other pregnancies. That's how you learn your baby's rhythm: not from a chart of strangers, but from your own counts, kept your way. Most moms-to-be start counting around week 28, in the third trimester, once movements have settled into a pattern you can feel every day. This app is built for exactly that: a simple count-to-ten tracker and fetal movement log you can use in a few minutes — lying on your side in the evening, sitting down after a meal, or awake at 3 a.m. WHAT IT DOES Tap to count — the first tap starts the count, the tenth ends it A light haptic with each tap, and the bump on screen answers back Stop early whenever you like — every count saves to your history Your usual range appears after five counts A chart of your last 28 days, so a change in the pattern is easy to spot Notes on any count — how it felt, what you were doing Weekly notes tuned to your due date, if you add one Export your full history as a PDF to bring to a prenatal visit Daily reminder at a time you choose Quiet and readable at night, and the bump on screen grows with you each week HOW COUNTING WORKS There's no start button and nothing to set up. Pick a calm moment, tap the bump for every roll, swish or flutter, and the count runs until the tenth. Each result reads plainly — "10 kicks in 24 min, your usual range is 15–35 min" — and it sits next to your own previous counts, never someone else's average. Weekly notes follow your pregnancy too: first flutters, stronger kicks, then rolls and stretches as space gets tighter — movements change character, not frequency. WHAT IT WILL NEVER DO The app will never tell you whether a count is fine. There's no score, no green check mark, no warning. A slower count isn't a bad result and a quick one isn't a pass — both are just times. The judgment belongs to you and your prenatal care team. IF MOVEMENTS FEEL REDUCED Contact your OB-GYN, midwife, or labor and delivery unit now. Do not wait until tomorrow, and do not use this app to decide. You are never wasting anyone's time. GOOD TO KNOW A library of 15 short, calm reads inside the app: what counts as a kick, when to start counting, finding your time of day, your baby's rhythm, movements in late pregnancy, an anterior placenta, common myths about fetal movement, and when to call your OB or midwife. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT No account. No purchases — the app is completely free. The due date is optional. Your counts, notes, and due date stay on this phone. Anonymous usage statistics help improve the app — never your notes or your due date. Available in 23 languages. Bump Kicks is a kick-counting tool, not medical advice. Nothing in it can tell you how your baby is doing. If anything worries you, contact whoever provides your prenatal care. Made with care by Developer On Wheels.
