Garmin Pilot

Customer Service is terrible. I've tried for weeks to get a response on this dangerous issue from Garmin. Their Nav Log calculations for cross-wind adjustments are incorrect. I believe they are reversed, but anyone flying the recommended heading will be lost, as it is always correcting in the wrong direction. Heading should be the direction you point the plane. DTK is the Direction Track (the way you should be moving). Adjustment should be INTO wind, not away. Fix this pls.

Problem downloading charts

pretty much useless for Android. no traffic no weather radar.

Absolutely does not work. You can't look up charts, airfields, create flight plans or anything that you really need to do as a pilot.

Do not buy this app if you fly in Europe! The flight planning forms are FAA (US-oriented) rather than EASA/EUROCONTROL compliant, making it dangerous and practically unusable for European airspace. On top of severe stability issues and app freezes, the refund process is an absolute nightmare. Garmin and Google Play simply pass the blame back and forth—Garmin claims they can't refund third-party invoices, while Google refuses to process the request despite applying within 24 hours.Save your money

Good overall. But I would like the ability to have the logbook exported in an easier, customizable, and cleaner manner.

App consistently crashes every time that I hit "flight" to try and enter a flight route.

If you plan on using cellular data in flight to get weather info, use Foreflight. Although the UI of this app is way better that FF, the backend access was probably designed using AI. It eats up Gigs of data in minutes. Using Wireshark and a PC as Hotspot, I was able to actually see the app syncing hundreds of Megs every time it reconnects after a drop. A 30 minutes flight chewed up 2.2 Gigs of cell data. FF used only 200 megs and Fltplan go was sub 50 megs for the same period.
