Watch Party – Watch Together

Watch Party is the easiest way to watch the same video at the same moment as someone far away. Pick a film or paste a YouTube link and send the invite link; you can both pause, skip ahead and rewind, and your screens always stay together. SHARE YOUR FILM • Pick a video on your phone; it isn't uploaded to a server, it goes straight to your friend's device and they watch it in the original quality. • The film downloads to your friend's device and is kept under "My films". Share the same film again later and it starts at once, with nothing to download. • Start watching before the download finishes; if one side falls behind, the film waits for both of you. YOUTUBE • Paste a YouTube link; both of you watch it in YouTube's own player, on the same second. TOGETHER • Text chat that goes straight to the other person and is never stored. • Voice and small camera bubbles you can drag to any corner. • Lower the film while the other person talks (optional). • Subtitles: add an .srt or .vtt file, both of you see it, and you shift its timing together. ANYWHERE • The invite link opens the app; a friend without it can join the same room from a browser. • Turn the phone sideways for full screen. • The film keeps downloading and the call stays connected while the phone is locked.
