GPS area measure for land and fields: tap the map or walk around the boundary.
AcreMeter is a GPS land area measure app: measure the area and perimeter of land, fields and plots on the map, or walk around the boundary with your phone's GPS. It also measures distance, such as a fence, a road or the edge of a field, and works as an acre calculator for any plot. MEASURE LAND AREA ON THE MAP • Satellite imagery shows field edges, fences and roads, so you can measure land from where you are • Tap each corner: side lengths, area and perimeter update as you go • Drag a corner to adjust it, or tap the middle of a side to add one • Precise mode places points under a crosshair; undo and redo every step • A warning when edges cross, so an area is never computed for a wrong shape • Find a place by name, or paste coordinates (decimal or degrees, minutes, seconds) GPS AREA MEASURE: WALK THE BOUNDARY • Live accuracy (±m) and signal age while you walk • Keeps recording with the screen off, with a notification you can pause from • Weak positions are left out, and standing still adds no zigzags • Straight sides stay straight: the corners are found from your walk • An interrupted walk is kept and can be resumed ACRES, HECTARES AND MORE • Acres, hectares, ares, square metres, square feet and square kilometres • Feet, metres, kilometres and miles for distances • Every measurement keeps its points, date, method and GPS quality SAVE, EXPORT AND SHARE • Save measurements with names, notes and folders; search and sort them • Export a PDF report with the outline to scale, KML for Google Earth, GeoJSON or CSV • Back up everything to one file and restore it on another phone FREE AND PRO Measuring on the map and with GPS, satellite imagery, every unit, 10 saved measurements, CSV export and backups are free.
