Three stars means something's off, Georges, and I'd like to fix it. What were you playing when the rhythm went wrong, and what should it have done instead? Send it to support@upbeat.studio and I'll dig in.
I love it-I use it to chart out grooves for a band for which I am a co-leader, and it's an easy-to-use tool when I am not in my music room.
Developer reply
Good to hear, Darryl. What are you writing in Drum Notes, your own grooves or charts for a band? I like knowing what people actually use it for, it tells me what to build next. If you ever want to tell me more, support@upbeat.studio.
Making sheet music was very easy to create.
Developer reply
Easy to create is exactly what I was going for, Two Lay. Notation tools have a habit of making you fight them instead. Did your sheet end up printed, or shared with someone? And if the editor ever gets in your way, tell me at support@upbeat.studio.
crashing over and over
Developer reply
Laurdess, crashing over and over is the worst, sorry you hit that. I want to get it fixed. Could you write to support@upbeat.studio and tell me what you're doing when it goes down, opening a score, playing back? I can see you're on a Galaxy A14 running 4.1.10. A short screen recording would help a lot.
sure! coulda gone for a little free swing, in the beat but, hey, it's free!
Developer reply
Appreciate the four stars, Dave. If there's one thing you'd add to Drum Notes, I'd like to hear it. What are you writing out mostly, your own grooves or something you're transcribing?
Great for making a drum beat to play with!
Developer reply
Making a beat and then playing over it is exactly what I hoped people would do with Drum Notes. What are you writing, your own grooves or stuff you're learning?
I LOVE this app, if you're finding exercises? here. if you want to write notes easily and also look at it in the traditional version and listen to your own groove? here. if you are finding new genres? here. 10/10

That's a proper 10/10, Volter, thank you. Listening back to your own groove is the part I love most too, it catches things your eyes skip right over on the page. If there's ever a symbol or a sound you wish Drum Notes had, tell me at support@upbeat.studio and I'll dig into it.
I can't believe this is free!!! It's exactly what I wanted.
Developer reply
🔥 Mike, this made my day, thank you! Getting what's in your head down on paper is exactly what we built Drum Notes for, so hearing it's what you wanted is the best feedback there is. If there's ever a sound or a symbol you wish it had, write me at support@upbeat.studio 🥁🎶
