Color blind camera: aim at anything to see its color name, or highlight a color.
Is this shirt green or brown? Is that light red or orange? Point your camera and this app tells you the color name, right away. Made for people with color blindness (color vision deficiency), including red-green color blindness. RECOMMENDED FOR • People with color blindness (e.g. those who find red and green, or blue and yellow, hard to tell apart) • People who find colors harder to tell apart with age • Anyone coordinating the colors of clothes or interiors • Anyone checking colors in designs, charts or documents HOW IT WORKS • Aim the center mark at any object. The color name appears in large text: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, brown, white, gray or black. • A detailed name (such as coral, olive or navy) and the HEX or RGB code are shown too. • The color wheel shows where the color sits: the angle shows the hue and the distance from the center shows how vivid it is. Its position tells you, even when the colors themselves are hard to tell apart. CHECK PHOTOS AND SCREENSHOTS • Pause the camera and tap any point, or open a photo or screenshot. • Share an image from your gallery or browser straight to this app. • Pinch to zoom, and long-press to open a magnifier for tiny details like graph lines or map colors. EXTRA MODES • Highlight: choose one color family and everything else turns gray, with a white outline around the matching areas. Useful for charts, maps, wires and color-coded labels, like a colorblind filter for one color. • Save and compare: save colors and compare any two. A table shows whether they have the same hue, which one is lighter and which one is more vivid. EASY TO USE • Opens straight to the camera. No account, no sign-up. • Zoom slider, flashlight and tap to focus. • Light and dark themes, portrait and landscape, and an option to keep the screen on. • Available in multiple languages. PRIVACY Colors are analyzed on your device. Camera images and photos are not uploaded or saved by the app. The camera permission is used only to show the camera view. PLEASE NOTE This app is a helper tool, not a medical device. It does not test, diagnose or correct color vision. Color names depend on lighting and the camera, so results under colored or dim light may differ from what others see. Do not rely on it where a wrong color could be dangerous, such as traffic signals or medicine.
