it would be so much more appealing if I could actually get this app to work. I pause it. I walk away for a minute. I come back suddenly it can't play until I close the app. and if you have this app on your phone, you don't get to switch roles. if you have this app on your desktop, you don't get to switch roles but if I have the app on my tablet I can switch roles. fix this please it's horrible.. also I'm pretty sure my teachers have a video on themselves and a video on the presentation

modified update after fix: 3.5 stars. Bringing back the background audio so I can listen while my phone screen is locked is a definite step in the right direction. 1 issue to go: They've removed 1.5x speed (there's still speed options of 1.25x and 1.75x speeds, but no 1.5x). 1.25x is too slow, 1.75x is too fast. please bring back 1.5x and then you'll have 5 stars back </3

You can't listen with your screen closed (and it won't stay on by itself). Also no 10sec skip. Completely useless without those.

Terrible UI design. Opening video in fullscreen is not actually fullscreen. Video is darken. Video player has lost the move forward and backward 10s that previous version have.

stopped working saying it has a bug

Cant use lock screen or headphone controls to pause and rewind video while listening.

doesn't even update to my current subjects. useless for studying online.

Buggy mess constantly crashes. Would be amazing if it worked instead of using the browser version.

horrible ui, horrible app when it worked. app always crashes these days on all the different phones I use
