LingoBuddy is an English learning app for kids aged 5 to 12 who learn best by speaking, not by tapping the right answer. Your child picks a mascot friend, presses one big button and starts talking. The mascot listens, answers out loud and gently corrects pronunciation — at the level your child is ready for, in short sessions you control. WHAT YOUR CHILD DOES • Speaks real English out loud, in a genuine back-and-forth conversation • Works through 100 guided English lessons across 100 everyday topics: greetings, animals, family, school, food and more • Learns phonics for all 26 letters — this part works with no internet at all • Reads along with 237 illustrated stories, narrated aloud, with tap-to-translate on any word • Plays Word Gym, short vocabulary games that bring an English word back just before it would be forgotten • Practises pronunciation drills that score every attempt and invite another try • Builds streaks, earns badges and chases a weekly goal WHAT PARENTS GET • A dashboard showing what your child actually learned: words, lessons, minutes, streaks • Every conversation your child had, readable in full • A daily time limit and a bedtime window you set • An optional weekly progress email, so you see how English practice is going without opening the app • A four-digit PIN in front of every parent screen SAFE BY DESIGN • No advertising anywhere in the app, from anyone • No analytics on any screen your child uses — only anonymous crash reports • Your child can never reach a purchase screen — locked features say "ask a grown-up" • Conversations are safety-filtered in both directions and the mascot never asks for personal details • Voice recordings are optional and delete themselves after 30 days • Delete the account and every trace of it from inside the app TEN LANGUAGES Menus, lessons, translations and parent reports are available in English, Turkish, German, French, Spanish, Arabic, Russian, Portuguese, Italian and Dutch.
