Do your homework. Read reviews on the hotels offered. Hotel locations and services may be sub-par. Review each detail of your trip, from connecting flights, layovers to inflight meals. I purchased private car to and from the hotels, and I was provided with a van with other people. Exoticca didn't respond to my inquiry about this. Total silence. I won't use Exoticca for any other future trips.
Avoid Exoticca! The app is practically useless: incomplete, outdated information, missing tickets and documents. Just a fancy gimmick to justify premium prices. Customer service gaslit me, insisting providers picked me up when they didn't. Worse, as an Asian traveller, my distress was dismissed, while a British traveller received an immediate discount for a minor complaint. The unequal treatment felt racist. Terrible communication, zero accountability. Never again!
Great trip to Greece!
Our Japan holiday was very well organised from flights, hotels and local tours. We had amazing time with the itinerary chosen by Exoticca staff. Tours were amazing giving us good overall experience of Japan and culture.
The hotels were beautiful and the entire trip was fun, reasonably priced.
just got back from trip to Egypt. everything was beyond my expectations! and our tour guide Emil hit it out of the park. may you be lucky enough to experience what I did.
Buyer beware! Just got back from Italy and by NO means are the hotels, with the exception of the resort we stayed in Vico, should be rated as 4 star hotels. The hotels we stayed in Rome (Eurostars Roma Aeterna) and in Naples (Stars Hotel The Businest) both had issues with hot water. And by that I mean, we had no hot water for almost 2 days. Also, the hotel in Naples controls the AC, so don't be surprised it they shut it off in the middle of the night. Just a few points you should consider.
Extremely satisfying trip. Our tour leader and driver worked so hard for our group. The tours were educational and fun. I'd give the leader and driver a 10 out of 10 if I was scoring. The hotels were good with the exception of the hotel in Madrid. small rooms and the staff seemed to be overwhelmed. the staff were very polite and accommodating but there was only so much they could do. I'd recommend a different hotel in Madrid. -Randy Cassel Chicago
Our tour was amazing thanks to the places we visited and our tour guide. The group was far too big, the hotels were of a poor standard especially the food and Exoticca customer service was terrible from beginning to end and I wouldn't recommend them
