Expensa is an expense tracker that does the tedious part for you: it reads your bank's SMS transaction alerts and logs each expense automatically. You can also manually add or edit any entry. All your data sits on your disk and Expensa does not share it or upload it anywhere. AUTOMATIC EXPENSE CAPTURE Expensa detects transaction SMS from your bank and records the amount, merchant, date, and time automatically. Over time, it learns which category you use for each merchant, so recurring expenses get categorized correctly without you lifting a finger. FOREIGN CURRENCY? NO PROBLEM Add a link to your bank's exchange-rate page and your commission rate, and Expensa will convert foreign-currency transactions into your home currency automatically, using that day's real rate. BUDGETS THAT WORK THE WAY YOU GET PAID Set a monthly budget — and if you don't get paid on the 1st, set your budget cycle to start on your actual payday instead. Get an optional notification when you're about to hit your limit. CUSTOM CATEGORIES, YOUR WAY Choose from dozens of built-in icons, or upload your own photo to represent any custom category you create. RECEIPTS, ATTACHED Snap a photo of a receipt (or pick one from your gallery) and attach it directly to any expense. MULTIPLE CARDS FILTER If you use more than a card or if you provide your beloved ones with supplementary cards that you receive the bank's SMS for and you want to monitor expenses, all you have to do is select the card in your search filtering and you will get a breakdown of the transactions, total of expenses and analytics review. AI-READY REPORTS Generate a clean report for any period — 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, or a year — formatted with an analysis prompt built in. Upload it to your AI assistant of choice for an instant, in-depth breakdown of your spending, trends, and savings opportunities. No account or subscription to a separate AI service required.
