Please implement more insights and control over activities. Allow us to remove an activity and know if some activitiy calories are being counted multiple times i.e. if Health Connect has multiple sources. The Calorie Goal should be named differently, calling it BMR (Base Metabolic Rate) would be more accurate imo. Other than that this is by far the best app I found with the largest database including user submitted products with barcodes in Germany. It makes tracking calories really easy.

Hello Vinnn, thank you for your detailed feedback and the great review. We’re glad Fddb makes calorie tracking easy for you. Your suggestions regarding activity tracking, Health Connect and the calorie goal are valuable and we’ll keep them in mind for future improvements. Best regards from the Fddb team.
I really love this app. The design is clean and simple, the German database is extensive and the bar code and ai photo reader work very well. It's just super easy and intuitive to use and has made a huge difference to my eating habbits! My only negative is that it happens a little too often that input in the app doesn't seem to reach its endpoints, and I cannot add (or plan) my food to my diary. It is usually resolved within an hour, but if that hour is exactly your lunch time it gets annoying.

A bit old fashioned and confusing UX in places.

Hi Kevin, thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that you find parts of the app’s design and user experience confusing. We’re continuously working on improving Fddb and will take your feedback into consideration. Best regards, the Fddb Team
The redesign has now locked previously free features such as sharing (and saving) recipes behind a paywall. In essence, if you live and cook together with people, look elsewhere unless you want to subscribe. I understand that a company has to "grow," but cutting out core features years later to force subscriptions is always an ugly look. Maybe it's time to move on...

Hi Sheng, thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry that the changes have left you with this impression. Sharing recipes is still possible without Premium. Saving recipes now requires a Premium subscription. We understand your frustration and will share your feedback internally. Best regards, the Fddb Team

after the newest update, adding single services from recipes doesn't work anymore, and workout syncing is very unreliable

Really nice and clean interface, just lacks some products EDIT: Some recurring bugs and pre-existing features being locked behind paywall are being more and more frustrating.

Hi Michael, thank you for your feedback and for updating your review. We're sorry to hear about the recurring bugs. We'd appreciate it if you could send us more details at support@fddb.info, so we can investigate and improve the app. Best regards, the Fddb team.
Kein bugtracker, also nicht transparent. warum?
