Drag the comet head — its whip-tail cracks the gems while you dodge mines.
Your comet is two things at once: a fragile head that dies to a single mine, and a heavy nine-segment tail that lags, swings and cracks behind it. The head obeys your thumb. The tail obeys physics — and the tail is the only thing that can harvest. Gems don't fall to a gentle touch. A gem only shatters when a fast-moving tail node whips through it above crack speed, so you can't just steer over the field and hoover it up. You thread the fragile head through gaps between mines while slinging the lagging chain sideways through gem clusters — lines, arcs and rings scattered across the board. The signature rush is needling the head between two mines while the whip-tip cracks a six-gem arc at a thousand pixels a second. Every gem feeds your heat. Park in a corner and the comet cools toward burnout; flail in place and the tail coils around your own head for a tangling stun that bleeds heat and breaks your combo. Score and survival are the same resource, so greed and caution fight in every swing. Chain gems for a rising multiplier up to x8, snap a tail-tip past nine hundred for a WHIPCRACK bonus, clear a whole cluster in one crack for a slow-mo FULL SWEEP, and buzz a live mine while collecting for a DAREDEVIL payout. The field fills as you play: static mines, then drifters that wander and bounce, then pulsers whose kill-radius breathes in and out. Nothing is frame-timed and the head hitbox forgives — the mastery lives in the physics of the swing, not the precision of your finger.
