Need it for secure pdf files, however I need to reinstall it every few days as there is some error box that I need to interact with and close in order to be able to read the pdf and then close it.

Closes immediately when a document is opened, whether the app is selected when trying to open a document from a folder, or a document is opened from within the app itself. Trying to open British Standards, who state you must use this app to view them.
