so far so good
I used to have this app, and gave up on it because of its insistence on location being turned on. When I got a new phone, I checked it again and all was good, but now I can't even enter the app without having precise location turned on. I am miles from where the actual pickup would be taking place and I can't look up anything at the place I would actually be. When the location is turned on, it only wants to show me things where I am. All it would have to do is let me select a location...but no.
typically use it for produce. usually you can find what equates to a paper grocery bag filled about 10 in sometimes a bit more with produce. usually a mix-and-match sometimes it's all bell peppers. . . really round out our produce expenses. these produce bags typically follow food pantry rules. . . you've got to preserve it or use it within 2 or 3 days.
wanted explanation for item not picked up which wasn't true. ive had 17 emails from the bot and no explanation. its NOT the $5.50, its the principal!! SO SO FRUSTRATING.

I've had this app for a couple weeks now and its nice on your wallet for meats, fresh bread, produce and eggs etc. let me not forgot the desserts. you can't beat the price and the food items are not expired and kept refrigerated. Thank you flashfood team.

The service fee has increased 375% since I first started using this app. That is unacceptable. What's the reason for that Flashfood?

Thank you for reaching out, and we understand wanting clarity on the charges for your order. Flashfood applies a service fee to each order, calculated as a percentage of your order total, with a maximum of $2.99. The fee is variable, and it supports the cost of operating the Flashfood app so we can keep providing great deals on groceries.
