more often than not the app fails to upload photos when selected from the device's camera photos file. Google Pixel 7a.

The uploader has not worked since June, which is a worry to me, for obvious reasons. What I'm also seeing is no responses to anyone's issues, which is equally worrying. I've basically always been a Flickr supporter, since the first beta, so that's a lot of photos. We want to support Flickr (with our money), but that requires Flickr to provide a usable service.

Been using Flickr for about 10 years, but the mobile app is absolutely useless . Doesn't find my images that are tagged and struggles to download them and sometimes even fails to download. The web browser version is just as bad for not finding my images.
nice app. I love the concept of flickr as an social network for photographers, but it has quite a few drawbacks. 1) you cant access explore in mobile app 2) There are a lot of bots and they are not blocked, moderation is pretty weak. 3) image quality is limited for non-paying users 4) mobile app lacks functionality, web version has confusing non-intuitive UI 5) there is less and less real comments lately, usually its spam from bots (if your shot made it into explore) and groups advertisements.
new update sucks. glitches. lags. photos wont even load to be seen. impossible to use. auto uploadr DOESN'T AUTOMATICALLY UPLOAD photos anymore. Can't even scroll through my photos and have them load in properly. app will shuffle me back to the top and make me lose my spot while browsing through my own photos. 5 year user considering cancelling my subscription if something doesn't change soon. EDIT: thank you for switching back to the old version! was so happy to see it upon updating.
oh god, please stop

2026 July update was a disaster. Duplicated over 5000 photos that had all been previously backed up, all on a 3 day span after the update. Still no way to scan for and kill unwanted dupes. Hated the cartoony interface, too. Old Version (now back): Simple and intuitive interface and automatic backup of images & video. Easy to set up and use. I highly recommend you pop for the Pro version for the unlimited backup and storage.

I can’t sign in even though I’m entering all the correct information. I was asked to reset my password, but after resetting it, I was immediately told that the new password was incorrect. This is extremely frustrating and very annoying.
