Bought this app a long time ago, and it used to function super great. Recently, though, it has stopped recognizing input from the dpad of all of my physical controllers: MCON, Backbone, and all xbox/ps controllers. The right side of the cintrollers works perfectly, but the dpad and stick for movement wont register in game no matter what I do.

Are you absolutely sure this has to do with the app though, and not with some changes in your setup, like a new phone, or an OS update, or some driver app missing? Because there have been no changes to the gamepad code for years, and my gamepads still appear to work fine.

Been experiencing some audio issues with the emulator as of late running on an S22+ when it used to sound fine a couple updates ago, hope this gets fixed soon because this emulator has been a long time favorite of mine.

The app has not been updated for a long while. I suspect that something else (like power saving options Android has chosen for the app) might be at play.
great app, please add retroachievement support
in game saves often get deleated somehow. i will close the app after playing for a while, then return later to find the save gone. It is very frustrating. reply to dev: It is not connected to automatic save states as they are already turned off, and i don't use any manual save states.

They are most likely overridden by the emulation gameplay saves. You can disable emulation gameplay saves in the Settings, then it will only rely on in-game saves.
something's going on with the performance it's very poor on newer devices. I pulled out my old Nexus 6 as a test and performance is much better on the older device versus my new s25 Edge. frames dropping all over the place and audio skipping. performance is not high enough to even do fast forward.. some additional information. I can see no difference in toggling the Hardware acceleration toggle. does this program use Vulcan?

This does sound strange. I do not have an S25, but a borrowed S24 seems to work normally for me.

Did you click on Internal Storage and select a folder where your files are? You HAVE TO grant the app access to a folder like that. This is what Google requires now.
Still enjoying this emulator for 2+ years now. I still consider it a top-notch app, if not the best. Please continue to update and support it through 2025 & beyond. you have a fan of your work in me!!! :-) 😀
