Thank you very much for your positive review. Just so you know, we've got a new update coming very soon. Keep your eyes open. The app’s about to get even better.
No. I doubt you received your information freely. That you would charge us for simple name searches is robbery. I could understand letting us use searching and then letting us upgrade to personal accounts. But no. Greed from the beginning for a topic that helps and heals is inexcusable.

Hi Charlie, I’m sorry the pricing has left you feeling this way. We do have ongoing development, hosting and AI/API costs, but we want the app to feel fair and useful. We offer a 7-day free trial with Unlimited access. Please email us through Support in Settings and we’ll do what we can to help.
nice idea but can't really be used without paid subscription.

Hi, thank you for your feedback. We understand your point on pricing and we’re always looking at ways to improve the value of the app. Please could you email us at support@fodmapscannerapp.com
Convenient but costly. It was useful to scan the ingredients, but you only get a few free scans. They want you to purchase a subscription to scan packages. I can look up single ingredients on the MONASH app, which is a one type purchase and tells me certified safe foods. Less than helpful.

this app is terrible. It told me soybean oil and canola oil are safe!!! Don't waste your time with this cr~app!

Hi, sorry to hear you had a poor experience. FODMAPs are carbohydrates, so pure oils like soybean and canola oil do not contain FODMAPs. If you’re having ongoing symptoms, we recommend speaking with a dietitian or healthcare professional. We’re also happy to review any results or questions by email.

This is a great app - very helpful in determining what is "safe" to eat!
