I finally took the plunge and got an app to study chess books on my phone, and it works great.

Dear Jeff, We indeed support Dark and Sepia modes. Steps: 1. Open a book 2. Menu -> Settings -> Theme Regards, Forward Chess team
i thought I would be able to import from my phone's folder ?
Reviewing this within 5 mins of installing! First of all thank you so much for giving out Chess Fundamentals by Capablanca for free. And on top of being free, the way it is made in an interactive way os just MIND-BLOWING! Thank you guys! Bless you!
Bummer--You cannot download the books to your Windows computer in order to play offline. Instead, it is necessary to go through Google play to access the poorly designed Forward Chess website.

Hello Walters, The Forward Chess android reader in fact does work offline, once the books are downloaded, so you can read them on the Metro or Airplane! Since Google Play Games on PC is a bit new, could you please send us a screenshot of the problem at info@forwardchess.com and we can have a look in case we have missed something. Regards, FC

I quit buying anything on google. Find a way to sell your product without google. Will buy more books when I am sure google isn't getting a cut.

Dear James, Thanks for your feedback. You can always buy the book on our website and read it using the mobile apps (since web purchases are synced across devices connected to your Forward Chess account) Is there any other feedback/suggestion that will make our app worth 5 stars? Regards, Forward Chess team
keeps losing my place in an article
App needs a dark mode like the website for ease on the eyes. Great app otherwise.

Forward Chess is the best chess e-book reader by far!
This app should be the future of how to study Chess books. It'samazing, featuring lots of customization and chess-specific functionality that has Kindle BEAT. I love the app and I love the HUGE selection of books available at WAY better prices than anywhere else. My first book(s) is/are Volumes 1 & 2 of "Akiva Rubinstein: Uncrowned King", and I'm WAY happy I got this edition over the hardcopies! Because it costs nothing to try, check it out, and use the free sample to explore all that it does!
