A calm home screen. Big buttons. Family one tap away.
A calm home screen that stays put. Gentle Home replaces the busy home screen with a few big buttons, big text, and nothing to get lost in. Set it up once, with or for the person using the phone, then leave it alone. It looks the same every time the phone is picked up. Call family in one tap. Photo contacts show the full number before you call, so the right person is called. Missed calls are shown in plain words. Messages, Photos, Camera, and Internet open the phone's own apps — big buttons to get there, nothing replaced inside them. Help in an emergency. One big red button calls the emergency number, and it always asks first so an unsteady tap never dials by accident. The number can be changed, and the button can sit at the top or the bottom — your choice in Settings. A family emergency contact can be set too, and stays first in the Call family list. Made to be easy on the eyes. Six themes, including High Contrast and Large Print with the largest text. Text size can go larger still. Settings are behind a family PIN, so the layout cannot be changed by accident. The home screen always comes back when the Home key is pressed, and the old home screen can be put back at any time from Settings. Honest about calls from strangers. Scam warnings live in Settings: plain guidance about unknown numbers, checking your phone's own spam filter, and never sharing codes with a caller. This app does not screen calls and never claims to block scam calls. The call-screening role is not requested. No account. No ads, ever. Everything stays on the phone. Android only. Free does the whole core job: the home screen, every button, the emergency button, the family contact, scam warnings, the settings PIN, and four of the six themes. Pro is a one-time purchase of $9.99 and adds: unlimited photo contacts, up to 3 home pages, Evening and Garden themes, layout backup via local-file export.
