It doesn't allow me to open my homework files; it says 'unable to open file.'

Hi Jiji. Can you open other file types outside of the Classroom app? The file could've been emailed to you outside the app. You can try to uninstall and reinstall the Classroom app if you're still running into problems. Open the Play Store app > search Classroom app > Uninstall > Reinstall/Update. Hope this helps.
