An app that's fine enough for bare bones messaging and calling. It does not show names for group chats from other messaging services and does not allow edits or reactions. For a while it would not ring, but I installed and uninstalled and fixed the problem.

It's hard to believe the search giant released this app with such a terrible search UX. This is a great free app but hard to believe paying customers use it. Bizarre how Google taunted Apple to support RCS yet Voice still doesn't. Wish List: 1)Schedule messages to be sent in the future 2)Mark conversations as unread 3)Send videos 4)Contacts should allow alphabetical jump like the iOS app or a way to quickly scroll 5)Attach multiple photos like the iOS app 6) Fix Contacts sorting (ABDC)

Very dirty and underhanded to force people to allow Google access to my personal contacts to build their databases and sell my personal information!!! for shame! more and more and more and more privacy intrusions!! I couldn't use nor get rid of the screen forcing you basically to allow them access...as soon as I did they accessed and got my data!

Just a month ago I would have given the app 5 stars. As of this writing I am not able to send 1to1 text messages to clients, friends, or family. I pay for this service and have used it for many years. Customer service and help center are terrible. Google literally ask you to stop using the service even after telling them this is my us number for calls/text. I am very disappointed. Do not recommend. If you want a riable second business or personal number look elsewhere.
