ACI Convention

Almost every time you open the app it completely locks up on you to update the guide. It's EXTREMELY frustrating! I just want to double check my schedule & see where my next meet is! The app should update the guide in the background & not hinder your ability to use it. Or ask the user if they want to update. I can't find any way to choose which types of notifications I receive, I like the meeting reminder ones, but the app is loaded with a bunch of Spam notifications.
