It's a bluetooth app, turn on the bluetooth on your phone/tablet and both connect perfectly

Can't use this on my tablet as GPS access is required to use it and my tablet does not have any GPS capabilities.

This app doesn't work which means the train that Hape is selling doesn't work. Pretty frustrating considering that Hape markets itself as a quality toy company. Fix the app, Hape.
