HOW TO PLAY Fill the grid so that every row, every column and every 3x3 box holds the numbers 1 to 9 once. Tap a cell, then tap a number, or pick a number first and tap every cell where it belongs. Drag across the board to move the selection. The number pad shows how many of each digit are left. HINTS THAT TEACH Stuck? A hint first points out any wrong number, then shows the simplest next step and explains in your language which technique it uses and why it works: hidden singles, pointing pairs, naked pairs, X-Wing, XY-Wing, Swordfish and more.
