First release. • Open a robot folder or .zip and view the full URDF model in 3D • Move any joint with a slider and see the pose change • Measure the robot with a colour-coded bounding box • Six fixed views, free rotation, and auto-rotate • Save what you see as a .glb file
View URDF robot models in 3D. Move joints, measure size, export to GLB.
URDF Viewer opens robot description files (URDF) and shows the robot in 3D — no desktop, no ROS installation. WHAT IT DOES • Opens a robot folder or a .zip containing the URDF and its mesh files, and renders the full model • Move any joint with a slider and see the robot change pose immediately • Measure the robot: a bounding box with the three side lengths, colour-coded by axis • Switch between six fixed views (front, right, back, left, top, bottom) • Save what you see as a .glb file you can open anywhere SUPPORTED FILES • .urdf robot description files • .stl and .dae (Collada) mesh files • .zip archives of a robot description folder • Open a folder directly, and the app reads the URDF together with its meshes ABOUT MESH FILES A URDF file does not contain the robot's shape. It only points to separate mesh files that live in other folders. To see the full model, open the robot folder itself, or a .zip of that folder. If you open a single .urdf, the app shows the simplified collision shapes instead and tells you which mesh files are missing. If your file uses xacro macros, expand it first with "xacro model.urdf.xacro > model.urdf" and open the result. FREE Every feature is free. Credits only skip ads — without credits you can still open every file after watching an ad. Made for robotics engineers, students, and anyone who needs to check a robot model away from their workstation.
