HunterSMART™(SIMPLEconnect®)

There are so many convoluted steps that you can't possibly call this simple! and my fans never connect to Wi-Fi even though it's configured WPA2 and 2.4 gigahertz only.

Does not work with alexa. Alexa says the device is unresponsive. The hunter app will let me turn them off and on but is not compatible with alexa.

Have wasted over an hour setting and resetting the device. Eventually it worked on the app but not on Alexa. Worst experience I have had with a smart device setup. This is the third time I'm also doing this long and frustrating process. It seems to disconnect periodically even from its Hunter app. Not just Alexa.

Maybe connects once every 30 days/ tries. And then I can't actually control the speed because the app is backwards and randomly changes speed without me. Up is lower and down is higher. It makes zero sense. Get a wall remote.

this version is like god mode compared to what it used to be! Some update after this it broke the slider for the fan speed control. can't get it to 25%, keeps going higher. have to turn it off before it flies off the cieling and control with the actual remote.

only thing I use app for is fan speed and it doesn't work, can't accurately control fan

not only is the app horribly designed but the app does not work. set up fails every time with no error

I can't connect to a fan no matter what I do..it always falls when I get to connecting the fan to WiFi step after putting in fan pin and I have 4 fans to setup.. I've tried 3 different phones, I'm at a loss. please fix this. I've been trying to connect these fans for 6 months.

I bought the fan in 2021. The app at that time worked great and was easy to use. Then someone decided to rewrite it. The new app has not worked correctly since day 1 and is confusing. The fan loses connectivity every 2-3 weeks requiring me to go through the entire set up process each time. Frequently the process wouldn't work at all and I had to use the remote to turn the fan on until they came out with an app update. Now I'm back to it not working at all. Support is worthless.
