Sidekicker is an excellent app for job seekers looking for flexible work opportunities. It is easy to use, reliable and provides access to a wide range of jobs. Through this app, I have had the opportunity to work at multiple events and gain valuable experience. I highly recommend Sidekicker to anyone looking for casual or part-time work. It is a great platform for finding jobs and gaining work experience.

This is a third class app keeping people hung in the balance, just collecting data and confidential details about people.Better go to an agency to get hired or side hustle casual jobs.Zero stars for wasting time and energy

Extremely frustrating platform mechanism. I passed assessments for roles where I have limited experience, but failed the one for a role where I actually have rich experience and a proven track record (including 10+ successful shifts with 5-star ratings directly on Sidekicker!). There is NO second chance, NO re-take option, and NO appeal channel once you fail an assessment once. Hope the developer add a manual review or re-assessment feature soon.

In 2021-2023 I had small success finding some casual shifts, but now in 2026 the sign up process is cumbersome and very difficult. Apparently I failed the "training" for event work. Not only was I not told why I failed but I'm not allowed to try a second time so my main field of work is unreachable. SideKicker is an awful company! Do not waste your time especially if you're in New Zealand.

Developer reply

Hi Jeff, Thanks for leaving us a review. We're so sorry to hear you had a poor experience working with our client. We work hard with our clients to ensure that we can predict and assist with their staffing needs, and that they provide reasonable notice should they no longer require workers for a job. We hope you'll give us another chance.
