PDFriend is an easy image to PDF converter. Turn JPG, PNG and other photos into one PDF. Scan paper documents, receipts and ID cards with the camera of your phone. Pick your pictures and put them in order. Then the app converts JPG to PDF, or photos to PDF, on your phone. You need no account. Image to PDF and photos to PDF: many pictures in one file • Pick many images from the gallery or from your files. JPG to PDF, PNG to PDF and other images work. • Long press a page to move it to a new place. • Crop and rotate each page. • Use a filter: Color, Docs, Enhance, Magic, Grayscale or black and white. • Adjust the brightness and the contrast. • Put 1, 2 or 4 images on each page. • Add more pages from the camera or the gallery at any time. PDF options • Page size: Fit to image, A3, A4, A5, B4, B5, Letter, Legal, Executive or Business card. • Orientation: Auto, Portrait or Landscape. • Margin: None, Small, Medium or Large. • Image quality: Low, Medium, High or Original. • Page numbers at the bottom of each page. • Header text at the top of each page. • Watermark text in grey across each page. • A password that protects the PDF with AES-256. PDF scanner: scan documents to PDF • Smart Scan is a document scanner. It finds the edges of the paper for you. • Scan up to 50 pages in one scan. Scan a receipt, a letter, a form or your homework to PDF. • ID Card is an ID scanner. Scan the front and the back of a card. Both sides go on one PDF page. • Camera: take a photo and convert the photo to PDF. Picture to text (OCR) • Extract text reads the text on a page. Then you can copy the text. • Searchable text: turn it on before you create a PDF. A PDF search then finds the words in your photos. • The text recognition reads Latin script, for example English, German and French. More ways to make a PDF • Text to PDF: type or paste text. The app converts the text to a PDF with real, selectable text. • Web to PDF: type a web address. The app prints the page to a PDF, and the text stays selectable. This tool needs an internet connection. Write on a PDF and sign it • Annotate and sign: use Pen, Highlighter, Text and Signature. • Pick a color: black, red, blue, green or yellow. Pick a thin, medium or thick line. Undo a step. • Draw your signature one time. The app saves it on your phone, so you can sign the next PDF with one tap. • Extract pages: type the pages to keep, for example 1-3, 5. The app saves them as a new PDF. • Export pages as images. PDF tools • Merge PDF: join 2 or more PDF files into one PDF. You set the order. • Compress: make a PDF smaller, for example for email. Pick Small, Medium or Light reduction. A PDF with photos can become much smaller. • Lock: save a copy of a PDF with a password (AES-256). • Unlock: save a copy without the password. You must type the correct password. • PDF to JPG: convert PDF to JPG. Each page becomes a JPG image. • Import PDF: add a PDF from another place to your list. • Open, share and print your PDF files. The viewer also opens a PDF with a password. • In the Files tab, rename, sort, share and delete your PDF files.
