Introducing Side Notes — your notes, always one swipe away. Create notes and task lists, access them from the edge of your screen, and keep them available while using other apps. This is the first release of Side Notes. More improvements and features are coming soon.
Keep notes at your side, floating over any app, ready when you need them.
Keep your notes right where you need them. Side Notes gives you quick access to your notes from the edge of your screen, with a simple swipe. Your notes can stay on top of the app you're using, so you can write, check, or read something without constantly switching between apps. NOTES AT YOUR SIDE Open the Side Notes panel whenever you need it. Keep shopping lists, ideas, information, reminders, tasks, or anything else you want close at hand. FLOATING OVER OTHER APPS Use your notes while browsing, reading, working, shopping, traveling, watching content, or using any other app. Your notes stay accessible without taking you away from what you're doing. TASKS AND CHECKLISTS Turn any note into a practical task list. Add tasks, check them off as you go, reorder them, and keep track of what's left to do. SIMPLE AND FLEXIBLE • Create text notes and task lists • Choose different note colors • Pin important notes to the top • Search your notes quickly • Add reminders to notes • Archive notes you don't need right now • Duplicate notes when you need a copy • Customize the side handle and its position • Adjust the handle size and appearance • Import and export your notes BUILT FOR EVERYDAY USE Side Notes is designed for the moments when opening a separate notes app feels like too much work. Need to remember something while using another app? Swipe from the side. Following a shopping list? Keep it visible while you shop. Working on something? Keep your tasks close without leaving your current app. Traveling? Keep useful information or checklists available while using maps or other apps. The idea is simple: your notes should be easy to reach when you need them, and stay out of the way when you don't. PRIVATE AND OFFLINE-FIRST Your notes are stored locally on your device and don't require an online note-taking account. Side Notes is designed around quick access, local storage, and keeping your everyday notes under your control. More features and improvements are planned as Side Notes continues to evolve.
