A minimal, private & secure to-do list with zero-knowledge encryption.
Why ListPo? We mostly use to-do apps for quick lists—groceries, random reminders, quick thoughts. Most app today can do more than what is needed, which might bloat app or make it bit harder to use. This app was meant to be minimal and hence simple to use. Just drop your notes, make lists, and move on. Keeping the lights on The feature of app is 100% free and will stay that way. For some visual enhancement, we do have ads that supports this app for continuity, however this app is designed to run at minimal cost. So this app will stay for very long time. You data is always private We have implemented Zero Knowledge architecture to ensure, only you can read your data. So how does it work? 1. Local Passkey The app creates a local passkey using a standard BIP39 mnemonic phrase. It lives strictly on your device’s hardware keychain via expo-secure-store. It is never uploaded to Firebase or any backend server. 2. Key Before encrypting, we hash your local passkey using the SHA-256 algorithm that generates 32-byte key which is used for the encryption. 3. Encryption (ChaCha20-Poly1305) The app secures your list & notes using the fast, highly secure ChaCha20-Poly1305 cipher. Uses 12-byte nonce for every encryption, the app generates a random. So now your data is converted to Ciphertext by encrypting with the 32-byte key and the 12-byte nonce. Now your encrypted data and the nonce are sent to Firebase. The key stays behind on your device.
