Bunga helps you learn Malay the simple way: a few minutes a day, one word at a time, until the words come to you without thinking. HOW IT WORKS You see a word in English and pick the right Malay word from four choices. Get it right and you hear it said aloud. Get it wrong and Bunga shows you the right answer, says it for you, and adds it to your list of words to review at the end of the round. A round takes about two minutes. The wrong choices come from the same topic, so numbers are tested against numbers and colours against colours. You can't guess your way through. ALMOST 1,000 EVERYDAY WORDS 966 words and phrases in 10 levels, from first words (hello, thank you, numbers, colours) to everyday Malaysian phrases like "Kurang manis", "Bungkus", "Jom makan!" and "Tak apa". Topics include food and drink, family, the home, the body, animals, places, directions, shopping, time, feelings and weather, plus about 150 useful verbs. Start at level 1 and move up when you're ready. Earlier levels stay in the mix, so old words keep coming back for review. TWO WAYS TO PRACTISE - English → Malay: see an English word, choose the Malay one. - Malay → English: see and hear a Malay word, choose what it means. HEAR EVERY WORD Bunga reads each Malay word aloud using your phone's built-in Malay voice, so you learn how it sounds as well as how it's spelled. A STREAK WORTH KEEPING Every day you practise earns a sticker on your calendar, coloured by how well you did. A little hibiscus grows as your streak gets longer. The progress page shows your days practised, overall accuracy and a 14-day trend. FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY Add a profile for everyone who's learning. Each person gets their own level, streak and calendar. PRIVATE AND OFFLINE No account, no ads, no tracking. Bunga collects no data at all.
