Players make their bids based on how many tricks they expect to win. Spades are the trump suit. Players must follow the suit led whenever possible. If you cannot follow the suit, you can play a Spade or another card. The highest-ranking Spade wins the trick when Spades are played. Otherwise, the highest card of the suit led wins the trick. Try to win at least the number of tricks you bid.
