Control IR LED strips from your phone. Needs an IR blaster, not Bluetooth/Wi-Fi.
Needs a phone with an infrared (IR) blaster, and works with IR LED strips only — not Bluetooth or Wi-Fi lights. LED Remote turns your phone into the remote that came with your RGB LED strip. Point the top edge of your phone at the strip's control box and tap, just like the plastic remote. THE REMOTE • Sixteen colours, white, brightness up and down, Flash, Strobe, Fade and Smooth, and On and Off, laid out like the common 24-key remote. • Other remotes too: if your strip does not respond, the Remote Finder tries the codes of other known remotes, one at a time, and finds the one yours uses. Remotes from a community database are marked Beta. • A names switch shows what every colour is called, for anyone who finds colour alone hard to read. SCENES Save the lights the way you like them and bring the room back with one tap. Two slots are free; watch a short video to keep more. EFFECTS Police, Sunset, Ocean, Candle, Party and Rainbow: colour sequences made from the keys your remote already has. Keep the phone pointed at the strip while an effect runs. SLEEP TIMER Turn the strip off after 15, 30, 60 or 90 minutes. It needs a remote with a separate Off key, so it is not offered on remotes that only have a single power button, where it could turn the lights on instead. WIDGET AND QUICK SETTINGS A one-tap home-screen widget and two Quick Settings tiles send the power key without opening the app. HONEST BY DESIGN Infrared only goes one way, so the app cannot know what your lights are doing. It shows what it last sent and what it estimates, and says so. If your phone has no IR blaster, the app tells you plainly instead of pretending to work. IN YOUR LANGUAGE English, Bangla, Hindi, Indonesian, Portuguese (Brazil) and Spanish. Choose the language in Settings, or let your phone's language decide. PRIVACY No account and no login. Your scenes stay on your phone. The app is free and supported by ads from Google AdMob; you choose your ad-personalisation settings in the consent form, and can change them any time in Settings. Works on phones with a built-in IR blaster, including many Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco models.
