First public release: find the qibla with the compass or the sun, no location permission, works offline.
Find the Qibla without location permission. Sun mode. Works offline.
Find the Qibla anywhere — no location permission, no full-screen ads. Qibla Compass shows the direction of the Kaaba in Makkah from wherever you are. Choose your city once and turn until the golden Kaaba marker sits under the arrow. The ring glows and your phone vibrates when you face the Qibla. NO LOCATION PERMISSION The app never asks for your location. Over 280,000 places are built into the app — towns and villages across Turkey, and places with 500+ people around the world. Search in your own language: "Makkah", "Mekke", "مكة" and "La Mecque" all work. If your place is missing, pick the nearest one or enter coordinates. SUN MODE No compass sensor, or metal around you? Switch to Sun mode. It tells you how many degrees to turn from the sun or from your shadow. The sun is never affected by magnets. ACCURATE BY DESIGN • Great-circle Qibla direction to the Kaaba • Magnetic declination is corrected for your city, so the arrow points to true Qibla, not magnetic north • Warnings for magnetic interference, calibration and tilt • Distance to the Kaaba RESPECTFUL ADS The app is free and supported by one small banner at the bottom of the screen. There are no full-screen or video ads, and ad content is restricted to general audiences. MORE • Works completely offline • 12 languages: English, Türkçe, العربية, Bahasa Indonesia, اردو, Bahasa Melayu, Français, Deutsch, বাংলা, فارسی, Русский, Español • Dark and light theme • No account, nothing to sign up for ABOUT DATA SAFETY The Data safety section on this page lists approximate location, app activity and device identifiers. Those are collected by the ad network that keeps the app free — not by the app itself. The app has no server, no account and never reads your location. ABOUT ACCURACY Phone compasses are affected by metal, magnets, speakers and car bodies. If the needle drifts, wave the phone in a figure-8. When in doubt, confirm the direction with Sun mode or with a local mosque. Place list: GeoNames (geonames.org), CC BY 4.0.
