Every notification kept and searchable. Bank alerts become your spending log.
NotiBudget turns the notifications your phone already receives into two things you can use: a searchable history of everything that arrived, and a spending log you never have to type.
WHAT IT DOES
Your bank, wallet and payment apps already tell you every time money moves. NotiBudget reads those notifications on the device, pulls out the amount, the merchant and the direction, and keeps a running total. No receipts to photograph, no transactions to enter by hand, no bank login.
Everything else that arrives — deliveries, messages, verification codes, calendar reminders, order updates, promotions — is filed into categories and kept, so you can find it weeks later. Android's own notification history lasts 24 hours. This one lasts as long as you want it to.
IT ASKS INSTEAD OF GUESSING
Most of the time the amount is unambiguous and it simply works. When a notification is written in a way the parser cannot read with confidence, it does not guess. It goes to a review queue that shows you the exact sentence it could not read and asks you to confirm, edit or ignore it. Nothing lands in your ledger as a guess.
The same goes for categories. Open any notification and it tells you in plain language why it was filed where it was, and you can change it. Correct something once and it remembers.
WHAT YOU GET
• A searchable archive of every notification, grouped by day
• Full-text search across months, not hours
• A running total for today, and a transaction history grouped by day with a total per day
• Several currencies at once, kept apart instead of added into a total that means nothing
• 19 built-in categories, all renameable, plus your own
• Rules that file a chosen app or keyword wherever you want it
• Per-app control: mute an app, or stop capturing it entirely
• Insights: how many notifications you get, the hours they arrive in, and which app repeats itself
• Manual entries, for the cash a notification never covers
• CSV export of notifications and transactions
• Backup and restore into a folder you choose
• English and Vietnamese
PRIVACY
There is no NotiBudget account, no sign-in and no server. Your notifications are stored in this app's private storage on this device, and are not uploaded, synced or shared.
A screen in Settings lists exactly what does use the network — the advertising SDK, anonymous usage counts you can switch off, and the Google Play check that confirms a purchase. None of them is ever given a notification, a category, an amount or a merchant.
By default the text of a verification-code notification is not stored at all. Only the fact that one arrived, and which app sent it.
FREE, PERMANENTLY
Capturing and searching your notifications. Every built-in category, and correcting any of them. The whole finance module — your transactions are never deleted by the retention limit. Manual backup, restore and CSV export.
THE ONE-TIME UNLOCK
One payment, no subscription, and the app does not need it to work. It removes the advertising SDK from the app entirely rather than hiding the banner, keeps your history for as long as you want instead of the last 30 days, widens insights from 7 days to a year, lifts the limits on rules and custom categories, and adds a daily automatic backup.
BEFORE YOU INSTALL
NotiBudget needs notification access to do anything at all, and Android will ask you to grant it. It can only keep what arrives after you turn it on. There is nothing to import, and it cannot recover notifications from before it was installed.
Android deletes an app's storage when the app is uninstalled, and no setting changes that. If your history matters to you, set a backup folder in Settings — a file saved there sits outside the app and survives.
Requires Android 8.0 or later.
