SMS Link is now a complete messaging app for this phone. It sends and receives SMS and MMS, with conversations, full-text search, drafts, scheduled messages, quick replies, auto-reply, archive and block, and dual-SIM support. Set it as your default SMS app to use it that way. Reading and replying from your other devices works exactly as before. Your account, your synced messages and your settings all carry over — there is nothing to set up again.
Send & read SMS on this phone — and on your tablet, iPhone, or the web.
Want a texting app that is quick, quiet, and does what you expect, without asking you to learn it first? Look no further. SMS Link is a complete, private SMS and MMS app for your phone. We care about what a messaging app is like to live with — the one you open twenty times a day — and this one is built to stay out of the way while doing more than the app it replaces. To round out the phone app, SMS Link keeps your messages reachable when this phone is not in your hand. Read them on your iPhone, your tablet, or any browser with the companion SMS View app, and reply from there — the message still leaves from this phone, from your own number, so the conversation stays in one place. This is texting, without the parts you did not ask for. --------- A Taste of the Features SMS Link does everything a default messaging app has to do, and then some. On top of reaching your other devices, here is a small taste: - Send and receive SMS and MMS, group conversations included - Conversations, full-text search, and drafts - Schedule a message for later - Quick replies, and auto-reply with rules you set - Archive, pin, mute, and block - Swipe actions you choose - Dual SIM — see which card a message arrived on, and pick which one sends - An undo window on sending, as long or short as you like - Dark mode, adjustable text size - English, 简体中文, 日本語 - No ads, anywhere Your Messages Stay Yours Syncing is off until you sign in, and SMS Link is a complete messaging app without it. If you do sign in, your messages go to your own account and nowhere else. Nothing is shared with anyone, nothing is sold, and no one at SMS Link reads them. They stay in your account until you delete them, and deleting them takes one tap. What Actually Leaves the Phone We would rather show the shape of it than ask you to take our word. 1) Nothing leaves until you sign in. Before that, every message stays on the phone, in the system message store, exactly where the built-in app would keep it. 2) When you sign in, the messages already on the phone are marked as handled and are not uploaded. Only new messages go up from that point, unless you ask for a window of history — and the longest window offered is seven days. 3) What goes up is the sender, the text, the time, and whether it was read. It lands under your own account, which only the devices you sign in can open. 4) Seven days is the most that can ever go up. Anything older on this phone is never sent, whatever you do. 5) What is in your account stays there until you remove it, and you can remove all of it — every message and this phone's record — from inside the app, at any time. The messages on the phone itself are untouched. Why SMS Access SMS Link asks to be your default messaging app. Android hands incoming messages to that app and no other, so reading, writing and storing SMS is what the app is, not something extra it does. Supported Platforms SMS Link is the phone app — the one holding the SIM. To read and reply from anywhere else, install the free companion app SMS View on an iPhone, iPad, another Android phone or tablet, or just open it in a browser. Wherever you reply from, the message still leaves from this phone, from your own number. ------- SMS Link is a complete messaging app for the phone you text from, and a way to reach the same conversations from everywhere else you sit.
