Dot no longer appears as of August 15 2026, regardless of resetting position, settings, ensuring app has all permissions, etc. It just doesn't work. Android 12 (LineageOS with microG).
Hidden in landscape doesn't work for vertical mode only in setting.

You must move dot in landscape and it portrait mode. In settings you can disable dot in landscape or full screen mode.
battery drained

Try disable rotating when new notification arrived. But it's clear that it uses some of CPU time when it moves. Then don't install any apps for notifications and use notification bar.
This app is excellent but for me it's s22 ultra battery make draining so fast, kindly advise any solution for the battery drain to use this wonderful app

Try disable rotating of dots when is new notification. But it is not problem because dots are animated only on turned on screen
this creator guy always has a great idea but as usual can't pull it off dots are on your screen all the time unless you pay pay pay pay pay pay pay.. I don't get defensive didn't mean to hurt your feelings madame

In the free version is one dot on the screen. Your phone was for free too when purchase of this app is too much for you?
I bought both of his notification apps, I have a problem with this working properly using nova launcher on a S25 ultra. The dot does not display over nova. it shows up properly everywhere else in the interface, but not in the one spot I need it to. chat gpt says its a Samsung One UI issue. is there a way to put this functionality into a widget so I can avoid all this overlay stuff?

Notification dots is app in the overlay window. For notifications in widget you must use notification widget app.
I really like the app but I only faced one problem that is while scrolling through notification as I reached the last one I scrolled more soon the transparent clear all option came & cleared it before I could notice it...Fix it like a hide clear all option or make it more visible.
This is the best so far it's great easy to set up. Love it!.....How about a Test View when configuring colours for the pop up. When I change colours I don't know what it looks like unless you have a pop up already there. How about live TEST view? also hightlight in the settings Menu headers.

I love this app but if you could help me with one thing. I have android system telling me that notification dots are using appear on top and it won't go away. you have a suggestion to make that notification never to appear?

I think when you long click on this notification in notification bar then you can disable this system warning.
