Interpolate elevation tables, plot graphs and scan data straight from a photo
Interpolator + OCR — a smart assistant for interpolating engineering data. Forget tedious calculations and manual data entry. The app was built for construction work, but it fits any field where you need values between known points: physics, chemistry, sociology, economics. 📷 ENTER DATA FROM A PHOTO Take a picture of your table — text recognition (OCR) reads it and fills in the values. No more retyping dozens of numbers by hand. 📐 INTERPOLATION AND CALCULATIONS - Value at any intermediate point - Interpolation with a custom step (sampling increment) - Add a constant to every value at once - Smoothing of values - Completion marks to track your progress 📊 GRAPHS - Curve plotting through fixed points - Akima spline approximation for accuracy and smoother curves - Scaling along both axes - Read off a value anywhere on the chart 💾 IMPORT AND EXPORT Share data as TXT, space-delimited, format 999+999.999 555.5555. 🏗️ A REAL-WORLD EXAMPLE You need to dig a 155-metre trench for a gas pipeline. The drawings give only the entry and exit elevations, but the excavator operator needs pegs every 5 metres. Enter the start and end elevations and the length — the app works out the elevation for any station. Levelling is covered too: a design elevation of 100.005 with a constant of −98.865 becomes a staff reading of 1.140 m. Smoothing helps when laying asphalt — for instance, to ensure a gentle approach to a bridge expansion joint. 🎬 SEE IT IN ACTION Main features: https://youtu.be/mjP8lXBpmzU OCR in action: https://youtu.be/NLoa67nSwqI 📄 SAMPLE FILES FOR TESTING https://stadiamark.almagest.name/index.files/spirytus.txt https://stadiamark.almagest.name/index.files/2tEST-1-21.txt Start working faster today.
