CARE Ethiopia Digital FFBS

CARE Ethiopia Digital FFBS brings Farmer Field Business School learning resources into one accessible app, helping facilitators and extension staff deliver practical training to farmer groups. The app provides digitised crop and livestock content in English and Amharic. Through clear videos and structured learning modules, it supports farmers to strengthen their agricultural practices and develop their farming businesses. For facilitators and extension staff - Find relevant content to support FFBS sessions. - Use videos to explain practices and guide group discussions. - Connect digital lessons with field demonstrations and practical activities. - Revisit topics to reinforce learning and support follow-up sessions. For farmers - Learn practical approaches to crop and livestock management. - Build understanding of farming as a business. - Discuss lessons with fellow farmers and apply them on their farms. Designed to complement CARE’s existing FFBS approach, the app supports learning through observation, discussion and practice. It helps facilitators bring consistent, locally relevant learning resources to farmer groups while keeping hands-on field learning at the centre.
