Plott-Creativity into reality

Does not let you download from a power point or word document. It is so hard to download to the background. There has to be a better way to down a picture or doc. to take measurements to.

I bought the Carta wheel and dnlded the Plott app Fall 2024. Since then, I have done 30 measurements for sq. footage, and only 2 of those have come close to closing within 5 feet. The others have been off by 30 or more feet. Today, I measured an area that, by my 40 years of experience, thought it should be around 2000 sq ft. 3 tries didn't even close, and the other 2 were closed by the app. Off by 12 and 38 feet. The sq ft of one was 1786, and the other was over 3000. All were of the same area

Not an accurate device at all. I measured a small front yard 2 times and somehow there was a 14' discrepancy in the measurements. If you do serious work do not buy this it's a home owners money pit. Buy a walking wheel and measuring tape

Great product!

Not a big fan of Carta's inaccurate map and plotting which is what I bought this for. Essentially all it can do accurately is measure distances like a normal wheel would, just fancier.

I don't understand why this app has such a low rating and the developers not responding to the complaints and fixing them. Now I will be honest, the app does have glitches sometimes, but it's not as bad as people make it out to seem. People gotta understand, "This is a Digital Wheel. So any move that you make will be recorded which is common sense so basically you get what you put into it. If you take your time, don't rush and just LEARN how to properly use it, then maybe it'll work out for you.

Absolutely sucks.

I've used it before, it's very easy to use and the accuracy is 99.9%.

Inaccurate most of the time. App doesn't provide undo if you make an edit or delete accidentally. App is not intuitive or user friendly. Great idea but needs a huge amount of improvement

I had such high hopes for this for use in measuring landscapd beds, etc. The wheel itself is great looking and well put together. The app is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. It's clunky, not intuitive, and inaccurate. Such a let down and it's a complete shame. This could have been a game changer.
