Learn Spanish, French, German, Italian & English through story video lessons
Learn Spanish, French, German, Italian or English with a story: short cartoon video lessons, grammar, vocabulary and speaking practice. Free, no ads. Lexayo is a free language learning app built around one story. You move onto a street in Madrid, meet the neighbors and follow their lives in short cartoon video lessons. Watch a scene, understand every word, then practice the vocabulary, grammar and speaking from it. No ads. No account needed. ★ FIVE LANGUAGES TO LEARN • Learn Spanish, French, German, Italian or English. • Every language course follows the same story, voiced in the language you are learning. • The app is in English, so it suits English speakers and anyone who learns through English. ★ LEARN WITH STORY VIDEO LESSONS • Short video lessons with the same characters every time, so new words come with a reason to remember them. • Each scene pauses for a few quick questions, so you check you understood before you move on. • Your path shows where you are in the story and what comes next. • Great for beginners: start at the first scene and build up step by step. ★ SPEAKING PRACTICE • Hear a line, say it yourself, then play both back and compare. • You rate how close you were. No machine marks you wrong for an accent. • Shadowing practice to get the rhythm and pronunciation of real speech. • Recordings stay on your device. ★ VOCABULARY AND GRAMMAR • Words from each lesson come back for spaced review just before you would forget them. • Every grammar rule comes with a clear table and examples from the story. • Practice picks what you need most today, so you learn the language a little at a time. ★ A LITTLE EVERY DAY • Set a daily goal and keep your streak going. • Lessons are short enough for a coffee break. • Color themes and dark mode. • Works on phone and tablet. ★ WHO IT IS FOR • Beginners who want to start a new language with something more fun than word lists. • Learners who want to speak the language, not just tap answers. • Anyone looking for Spanish lessons, French lessons, German lessons, Italian lessons or English lessons in one free language learning app. • People who like stories and want a small daily language habit. ★ NEW LESSONS EVERY WEEK The story keeps going. New scenes and lessons are added every week, so there is always something new to learn. Learn Spanish, learn French, learn German, learn Italian or learn English with a story you want to follow. Lexayo is free, with no ads and no account. You need an internet connection to load the lessons.
