There is no AI. No chat function. The Design is boring. There are senseless quotes that are made up by AI, I suppose, but that is the only AI in this app. Deleted.

Developer reply

Hi Jerry, we're really sorry about the experience. Tap the round button at the bottom right: Write or Speak to journal and your mentors reply, or Mentors to chat with any mentor directly. Replies are grounded in each mentor's own work, and many users find it better than ChatGPT for reflection. We'd love to help. – Daniel, founder

EDIT3: I can't write my thoughts here anymore. I guess u need to pay if u want to write your thoughts daily... EDIT 2: I forgot to add how much I love the historical mentors especially Carl Jung. and please I really wish there was a way to continue conversations after we reached the daily chat limit, I need the app to allow unlimited conversations. thank you once again

Developer reply

Hey there! We are continuing to improve the experience for our free users and right now our development are purely supported through subscription as we are a bit worried about displaying ads with the sensitive data you have with Life Note.

I am in the middle. I think it's quite a high price monthly and from what I see there's no trial so you aren't actually able to seek the benefits before you have to pay. I have taken the leap and paid the first month to see what it has to offer. one thing that would definitely improve this app if it had a widget option. as many like me with ADHD will often forget the app is lying there, so I'm hoping it's worth what I've spent. we shall see

Developer reply

Thank you for your review,Amy. I’ve emailed you about a proper trial. We do offer more journal entries for the first 10 days and we should’ve made it more clear, sorry. We will also be building the widget, for now, you can turn on the notification to get daily mentor nudge. Also, we have a web app to journal with many of our ADHD users enjoy!

so much fun with crazy good insight. AI outdoes itself this time with prevalent minds to access

Developer reply

Hi Jenna so glad you are having fun! That’s the most important.. just to have fun and through the AI mentors learn more about ourselves and the world : )

Great app! I only wish I could afford it. The current economy prevents this.

Life Note is ONE OF THE BEST Mental Health Apps I have come across. I wish I had known about it before I spent over 8 months on CHAT GPT. I am a therapist myself and a physician (MD). It was when I realized that CHAT GPT was actively gaslighting me after it had all my personal information, I started getting MORE anxiety attacks. I then explored and found out about LIFENOTE. They have authors like E Tolle, Vickor Frankl. Absolutely THE BEST. It feels like they are guiding me.

This app is great but please make the interface little simpler and add a feature where the journaling don't get response by AI's

Developer reply

Hey thank you for the review! You can actually select “write alone” when submitting a journal entry too, or adjust the number of mentors yourself. Also, we will definitely make the interface simpler, you can also share specifically which part of the app you find you complex now, we will work on them!
