- Open a contact file (VCF) before importing it, and search by name, number or email. - Add just the people you need to your contacts app, or hand over the whole file. - Save as CSV, PDF or a compatible VCF (3.0).
Open VCF contact files without importing. Search, add to contacts, save as CSV.
Open VCF (vCard) contact files on your phone before you import them. See every contact and its details, search by name or number, and add just the people you need to your contacts app. ■ Open - Contact files in version 2.1, 3.0 and 4.0, exported from phones, computers and email programs. - Files from older phones open too, with quoted-printable text and character sets such as EUC-KR, Shift_JIS and windows-1252, and UTF-16 files. - Large files open in full, up to 256 MB and 200,000 contacts. - Pick a file in the app, open it from your file manager or email, or share a VCF from a messenger to the app. - If one contact in the file is damaged, the app skips it and keeps reading the rest. ■ View and search - See every contact in a list, in file order or sorted by name. - Search by name, phone number, email or company. Numbers match even with spaces or dashes. - Open a contact to see phones, emails, addresses, company and title, birthdays and other dates, websites, messengers, notes and the photo. - Fields the app does not recognize are listed under Other fields. Very large items are skipped, and binary data shows only its size. - Preview the original text of a contact. Long content is shortened. - Tap to call, text, email or open an address in maps. Press and hold any field to copy it. ■ Add to your contacts - Add to contacts opens your contacts app with the name, numbers, emails and other fields filled in. You save it there yourself. - Import the whole file into your contacts app in one step, and choose the account in that app. - If a file uses version 4.0 or mixes versions, the app tells you that some contacts apps may not accept it, and shows another way. - Share one contact as its own VCF, or share the original file. ■ Print and save - Save as CSV with names, phones, emails, addresses, dates and notes in columns by type, so the list opens in spreadsheet programs such as Excel without broken characters. Photos are marked only as present, and more than 10 of one kind share the last column. - Save as PDF, a printable contact list with names, companies, phones and emails. - Save again as a compatible VCF (3.0, UTF-8), which most phones can import, when another phone can't read the original. - Select contacts and save only those as a new VCF. ■ Your files - The app never asks for access to your contacts. Files are read only on this phone and never uploaded. - The app does not ask for storage permission. It reads only the files you open, and never changes the original. - Nothing goes into your phone's contacts unless you save it in your contacts app. - Google services process device information for ads and app usage statistics. See the privacy policy for details. ■ Good to know - The app views contact files. It does not edit contacts or read the contacts already on your phone. - A PDF holds up to 20,000 contacts. On phones with little memory, the limit is lower, and the app tells you before saving. - Photos stored at a web link are not loaded. - Some contacts apps can't import version 4.0 files. Save a compatible VCF (3.0) and import that file instead.
