- Edit the title, artist, album and album art of MP3 and FLAC files, one song or many at once.
Edit title, artist, album and album art in MP3 and FLAC files. Many at once.
Fix the details of your music files right on your phone. MP3 Tag Editor changes the title, artist, album, year, track number, genre, lyrics and album art of MP3 and FLAC files, one song or many songs at once. ■ Edit one song - Title, artist, album, album artist, year, track and disc number, genre, composer, comment and lyrics. - Change or remove the album art. JPEG and PNG pictures up to 3000 pixels and 5 MB go in as they are. Larger pictures are resized to 1500 pixels. - Play the song to check it is the right one. - See the format, tag version, length, bitrate and sample rate. ■ Edit many songs at once - Pick several songs and set the album, album artist, artist, year, genre or composer for all of them. - Number the tracks in the order you choose. - Put the same album art on every song. ■ Saving that keeps your music safe - Choose each time: save to the original file, or save as a new file. - The sound part of the file is never changed. The app checks it byte for byte before saving. - When you save to the original file, a copy is kept for up to 7 days so you can undo. - Fields you did not change, such as play counts and ReplayGain, are kept as they are. - Files do not grow much: the tag reuses the space it already had. ■ Old Korean text - Tags written by old programs in EUC-KR often show broken Korean. The app reads them correctly and can rewrite them so players show them too. ■ Your files - Songs are read and changed only on your phone. Nothing is uploaded, and songs are not recognized online. - The app does not ask for storage permission. It changes only the files you pick. - Google services process device information for ads and app usage statistics. See the privacy policy for details. ■ Good to know - MP3 (ID3v2.2, 2.3, 2.4 and ID3v1) and FLAC can be edited. M4A, OGG, Opus, WAV and WMA are not supported yet. - Tags stored in unusual ways (compressed, encrypted or unsynchronized) can only be viewed, so nothing is lost. - Files opened from another app can be saved as a new file. To change the original, open it with Open music files. - Your music player may need a library refresh to show the new details.
